Privacy Policy

Last updated October 6, 2026

Pandamonia LLC makes Backgammon with Buddies for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and runs this website. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use them.

• No accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking
• Your games are saved on your device
• Online play goes through Apple’s Game Center and Messages
• We only see what you choose to send us, like a support email

On your device

The app saves the game in progress on your device, so you can pick up where you left off. This stays on your device, we can’t access it, and it’s removed when you delete the app.

Playing over Game Center

Online games use Apple’s Game Center. Your Game Center profile, friends, invitations, and the state of each match are handled by Apple and shared with the other players in that match. We don’t receive or store any of it. Apple’s handling of this information is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Playing in Messages

When you play in Messages, each turn is sent as a message in your conversation, the same as any other iMessage. It contains the board, the dice, and whose turn it is. Players are identified only by anonymous IDs that Messages provides, and Messages fills in names on each device, so the app never sees your name, phone number, or email address. We don’t receive these messages.

Diagnostics

If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us crash reports and performance data. This data isn’t linked to your identity, and we use it only to fix problems. You can turn it off at any time in Settings under Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements.

Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you.

This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics, or tracking. It’s hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to operate and secure the service. Fonts are served by Bunny Fonts, which doesn’t use cookies or tracking.

Sharing and selling

We don’t sell or share personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Backgammon with Buddies is suitable for all ages. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
